The annual convention for the American Association of Medical Colleges took place in May at the Convention Center.  The group hosted an off-site dinner on board the USS Midway on Tuesday, May 1st 2012.  Guests arrived and were greeted with a glass of wine on the Hangar Bay where they were given tours on the rooms below as well as were able to see and view the aircraft and simulators in the Hangars and on the Flight Deck upstairs.  Carriage Trade presented some passed hors d’ oeuvres that included a Plum Wine Braised Hoisin Chicken served on a Belgian Endive and served with Water Chestnuts and Chives.  The main dinner included a buffet complete with a Sustainable “Catch of the Day” served with a Grapefruit Beurre Blanc sauce.  The guests really enjoyed the Belgian Bittersweet Chocolate and Strawberry Napoleon for dessert.
